Driving lessons and driving assessments to get you ready for the road
Whether you’re a learner driver or want to hone your skills in preparation for your restricted or full driving test, I offer driving lessons and assessments tailored to suit you.
No matter what stage you’re at, I will make sure you develop the driving skills to help you pass your driving test and more importantly keep you and others safe out on the road.
Dual control car
Driving lessons are conducted in a dual control automatic car to ensure your comfort and safety. However, if you wish to learn in a manual car you will need to provide your own vehicle for lessons.
Driving lessons
Passing your learner’s licence is just the beginning, now you need to put driving theory into practice. Each lesson is 60 minutes duration, and I will design the course we follow to suit your driving ability and confidence level.
In your lessons you will receive practical feedback on your driving skill. At the end of each lesson, I will give you a brief report to assist your practice between lessons. This will ensure you build your confidence on the road and help you to become a safer driver.
During your driving lesson I will coach you on the following aspects:
- Observing correct road rules at all times
- Driving to the conditions
- Making good driving decisions
- Identifying hazards
- Building your confidence in a variety of situations
Pricing
- $75 per lesson or a package deal of 5 lessons for $350 which does not need to be paid in advance
- With the package deal you still pay per lesson, $75 for each of the first 4 lessons then pay only $50 for the 5th lesson
- You don’t have to book all 5 lessons at once and there is no time limit to complete the 5 lessons
Driving assessments – preparation for your Restricted and Full Drivers’ licence
When you think you’re ready to sit either your Restricted or Full Licence, it’s a good idea to get a professional opinion first. I know what the testing officers are looking for in a candidate and I can gauge your readiness for a practical driving test.
Following your practical assessment, which is 45 minutes, I will give clear feedback on what you need to be aware of and pick up on any critical error(s) you may be making.
If you’ve previously failed a practical test and are nervous about sitting it again, I’ll help you identify what you need to work on to meet the required standards.

Pickup and drop off service
With this service I make it easy to access driving lessons, even if you don’t have a car! If you live within a radius of 10km from the CBD, I can collect you from your home and drop you back after your driving lesson. We can make alternative arrangements to suit if you live outside this area.
